HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY NEW PIERCING?

Piercing Aftercare
You will be given an aftercare sheet when you are booking your piercing – please read this before your piercing so that you know what to expect. After your piercing we will go through this aftercare sheet again to ensure you know how to look after your new piercing properly. If anything is not clear please ask your piercer or a member of staff. If you have any problems with your new piercing you MUST come back to see us as soon as you can.
Taking care of your piercing
The best aftercare will depend on various factors. Each body is unique and every piercing is different. There are a number of things you can do to help your body to heal your piercing. Some of them are:
- Keep your hands off the piercing! Dirty (unwashed) hands are the worst enemy for piercings. During the course of a day your hands become covered with germs. If you touch the piercing, even just near the area, you will deposit bacteria at the piercing site, possibly causing an infection.
- Eating correctly: It is a proven fact that if you eat a healthy, balanced diet your body functions better and heals faster.

Heya
,
I got my tragus pieced a few months ago and I think I’ve got a scar tissue build up, a bump =S
Should I use asprin paste? If so, how long do I leave the paste on the affected area?
Thank you! :]
