OK so I found this online and thought, after Christmas everybody’s trying to shed a few pounds – maybe I should just go ahead and take Drew’s advice;)

@fern, tongue piercings are a walk in the park – on the scale of 1 to 10 (1=no pain and 10=lots of pain) tongues are around a 2 or 3.

I agree. about a 3/10 for me. It’s not very much pain, but it lasts for a while.
I would rate it about a 2 or 3 as well. After the first initial stab, my eyes watered and my actual thought was “crap, my eyeliner is going to run”. It’s a dull throb after a couple hours and then just a mild irritation for a week or two. Eating was a problem but soup was wonderful (not so much the noodles though – they got twisted around it). I’ve had mine almost 13 years now and don’t see myself taking it out anytime soon.
do you get a lisp from getting your tongue pierced?
and does the ball chip your teeth?
hi, i was wondering if you guys could look at my nose piercing, i’ve had it done with gun, i went back to the beauty salon i got it done at and they said they couldn’t do anything,some of my nose studs don’t fit anymore and the hole has closed up abit,so i was wondering if you guys could check it out
LOL you do get a lisp. I just got my piercing 3 days ago and i have one. Worst thing about it is that I have to work with a lot of customers.
i want to get my tongue pierced but i wanna know how badly is the pain afterwards and can you even talk for a week
I just had my eyebrow done, and I love it! now I know what the pain is like, bustsing for a Munro and tongue done, eyebrow on 1 to 10, got to say, a zero was recorded for me, and my son, who went with me, we will do tongue soon enough I think..
